I received a degree in clinical psychology from the University of Oslo in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1995. In 2009 I became an authorized specialist in clinical psychology, subspecialization work with children and youth.
I have extensive experience working in the Norwegian health care for children and young people (BUP). Between 2007 and 2010 I worked with patients in a therapeutic setting treating minor psychological disorders, with a goal of returning to work after a sick leave of absence. From 2010 to 2013 I worked in a private medical center, treating patients of all ages struggling with issues of stress and coping, readjustment to new situations as well as overall mental health. I opened my private practice in 2013.
